Inventory Clerk

Our Detroit, Michigan warehouse is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage our stock with precision. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Receive, document, and track incoming inventory.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse stockroom for accessibility and safety.
• Prepare inventory reports for management.
• Assist with stocktaking and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform tasks that may involve moderate lifting (up to 30 pounds).
• Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse principles.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and using PPE as required.
