Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: 8040 Old Cedar Ave S #100. Bloomington, MN 55425Dosing Hours: 5:30 am - 11:00 am M-F; 8:00 am - 10:00 am SaturdayAlliance Wellness Clinic, Inc. is a Minnesota leader in Medication Assisted Treatment and recovery.
Our clinic offers behavioral health support services with licensed counselors and licensed nurses to address and administer medical services in a multi cultural setting. JOB DUTIES:
* Consult and coordinate with clinical team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
* Maintain accurate accounting of all medication received, and dispensed.
* Evaluates new and existing patients for any adverse effect to methadone or other MAT medications.
* Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.
* Ensure each patient's file has an accounting of all medication dispensed, and an order reflecting all changes.
* Follows security protocols for the storage and access to controlled medications.
* Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records as well as dosing logs.
* Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.
* Follow dispensing protocols under physicians' orders.
* Prepare all mandated reports, documentation, and other requirements, in a timely fashion.
* Follows protocol for re-evaluating patients that have missed 3 or more days.
* Evaluates patients that appear under the influence.
* Conduct breathalyzer as necessary
* Document patient vitals when appropriate
* Ability to perform CPR
* Respond to medical emergencies
* Conduct mock medical emergency drills quarterly
* Ability to use AED
* Follows protocol for Infection Control Practices.
* Follows protocol for staff and patient emergencies.
* Conduct daily, monthly, and Biannual Inventory.
* Treatment Team staffing of patients
* Maintain scheduling of patients on Medical Director calendar
* Blood draws at intake or as needed
* Complete ·monthly PMP inventory on all patients
* Adhere to DEA and MN State regulations regarding Schedule II & Ill medications
* Conduct mock emergency medical crisis quarterly or more often when necessary
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
* Valid LPN, or RN license.
* Documentation of current CPR (as soon as acquired).
* Maintain compliance with the requirements for continuing education hours and/or units (CEH or CEU) as determined by certification/licensing board.
*Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:*Assisting in training staff of medical matters and client care; attendance at professional meetings each week; position oversight by M.D. in charge and RN Lead, assist Doctor during physical examinations if necessary; keep the dispensing room clean and orderly; maintain medical equipment, medication education, monitoring, pill counts, observed dosing, and medication refills. Patient collaboration with licensed, prescribing physicians and other nursing staff.
