*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Two Counties Nursery . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible in implementing educational activities, managing daily routines, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
*Duties*
* Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
* Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
* Support the emotional well-being of children by providing comfort and reassurance as needed.
* Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a high standard of care and education.
*Skills*
* Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is essential.
* Ability to manage groups of children while ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Leadership qualities to inspire and guide junior staff or volunteers within the nursery.
* A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
