Our rapidly growing logistics company in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, coordinating with shipping carriers, and accurately labeling packages for dispatch. You will also assist with maintaining shipping supplies and ensuring the organization of the shipping dock. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. While this role may not involve as much manual lifting as other warehouse positions, adhering to safety procedures and understanding proper material handling is still important. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on specific tasks. Experience with shipping software and inventory management systems is a significant plus.
