Job Summary:
Become a vital part of our efficient logistics operations as a Distribution Center Associate in Madison, Wisconsin. This position offers a comprehensive range of duties, from receiving and stocking goods to accurately picking and packing orders for shipment. We are seeking individuals who are committed to maintaining a high standard of productivity, accuracy, and safety within our fast-paced distribution center.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Sort and place inventory in appropriate locations within the distribution center.
  • Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to accurately select items for customer orders.
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring quality and correct labeling.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including mandatory PPE usage and safe lifting practices.
  • Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
  • Operate material handling equipment like pallet jacks and dollies as required.
  • Support the overall smooth functioning of the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for the duration of the shift.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive approach to safety and adherence to all guidelines and PPE requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
