Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics operation in San Diego, California as a skilled Forklift Operator. We are looking for a safety-conscious individual to manage the movement of goods throughout our distribution center. This position involves operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack inventory efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will directly impact our supply chain's efficiency and our ability to meet customer demands. We value a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper securing of goods.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
  • Contribute to team efforts by performing other logistics and warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all material handling is done in compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in regular safety training and meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
  • Certification and proven ability to operate forklifts proficiently.
  • Familiarity with warehouse logistics and material flow.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong emphasis on safety procedures and accident prevention.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
