We are looking for dedicated and versatile Warehouse Associates to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that products are stored correctly, and efficiently fulfilling orders according to specifications. A strong understanding of **logistics** and warehouse operations is beneficial. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and **safe** work environment, with strict adherence to all company **safety** policies and the mandatory use of **PPE**. You will be expected to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified). This position involves regular physical activity, including walking, standing, and **lifting** items weighing up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all **safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE**.
- Support the overall **logistics** and operational flow of the warehouse.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of products up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to **lift** and move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of **logistics** and warehouse processes.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and proper **PPE** usage.
