Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Miami, Florida distribution center. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This involves conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock variance. Your sharp attention to detail and analytical skills will be vital in optimizing our inventory management processes and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will work closely with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment, to resolve inventory-related issues. This position requires the ability to perform physical checks, which may involve some lifting , and a strong commitment to upholding safety standards. We provide all necessary PPE and expect rigorous adherence to all safety protocols. - Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Manage and oversee the put-away process for incoming goods.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
Proven experience in inventory control or management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in WMS software and inventory management techniques. Ability to perform physical checks and occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Commitment to upholding safety standards and using required PPE . Understanding of warehouse logistics and supply chain principles is essential. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
