Job Summary:
Our Charlotte, North Carolina facility is seeking a highly organized Inventory Control Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our warehouse inventory. You will be tasked with conducting thorough cycle counts, performing physical inventories, resolving discrepancies, and implementing best practices for inventory management. Your contributions will be key to optimizing stock levels, minimizing losses, and ensuring product availability for our logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving inventory challenges within a demanding warehouse environment. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shrinkage, and optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams on stock management.
  • Safely handle materials, including lifting items up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE correctly.
  • Physical capability for inventory tasks, including walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
