Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS system.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend reorder points.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock levels, and shrinkage.
- Assist with the implementation of new inventory management technologies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related role within logistics.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management System) software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and create actionable insights.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
- Physical ability to perform some lifting and move around the warehouse as needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
