Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma location. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stock loss. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a highly organized and efficient warehouse. Our company emphasizes workplace Safety, providing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ongoing training. While this role may involve some Lifting, the primary focus is on data management and accuracy within our logistics operations. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure product availability and support smooth operational flow. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent tracking and data entry.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with operations staff to improve inventory accuracy.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete stock.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Uphold high standards of Safety and warehouse organization.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of Logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting when required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
