This role is pivotal to our logistics operations, ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished goods are moved, stored, and prepared for shipment efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for production or shipment. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires the ability to perform regular lifting and physical labor in a dynamic environment. Experience with various types of forklifts and pallet jacks is a significant advantage. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from production areas, storage areas, and shipping docks.
- Organize and maintain inventory within designated areas.
- Ensure materials are properly identified and staged for shipment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certified or experienced in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting and manual labor.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and proper PPE usage.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
