This pivotal role ensures the smooth flow of materials within our logistics operations, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping. You will be expertly operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload a wide variety of products, always prioritizing Safety and efficiency. A current forklift certification is a must, alongside a thorough understanding of warehouse protocols and Safety regulations. We seek motivated individuals who are detail-oriented, responsible, and dedicated to upholding our high standards of operational excellence. Responsibilities include conducting daily equipment checks, managing inventory placement, and ensuring all movements comply with Safety guidelines. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and manage tasks independently. Significant physical demands are involved, including frequent Lifting and maneuvering of heavy items. Adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements is non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts for material transport within the warehouse.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles accurately.
- Position and stack merchandise in designated storage areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Use designated PPE, such as safety glasses and high-visibility vests.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid forklift operator's license/certification.
- Demonstrable experience in forklift operation in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in Logistics or supply chain operations is preferred.
- Capability for significant Lifting and physical tasks.
- Solid understanding of workplace Safety standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to wearing and maintaining PPE.
