Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, automated systems).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Operate safely within the warehouse, adhering to all logistics procedures.
- Follow strict safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
- Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Handle occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs during maintenance tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
