Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or system orders.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and methods to ensure product safety during shipping.
- Accurately label packages for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain efficient workflow to meet productivity targets.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Follow all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability for consistent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management concepts.
