Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves using order lists and scanners.
- Verify product information against order specifications.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent scanning.
- Ensure the safe handling and transport of all goods.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, consistently.
- Proficiency with scanning devices and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must understand and practice safe lifting techniques.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
