We are seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our bustling warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and processing all goods received. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are vital for maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring efficient logistics operations. You will work closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, and shipping departments to streamline the receiving process. A commitment to Safety and adherence to company policies are essential. This role may involve some Lfiting and requires you to be diligent in following all Safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE. Your accuracy in this role directly impacts our inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damages or discrepancies against purchase orders.
- Document all received items in the inventory management system.
- Label and prepare received items for storage or distribution.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors and vendors promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to Safety standards.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE as required.
- Perform occasional Lfiting of packages.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring timely processing of incoming goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a warehouse/logistics role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory management software.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform moderate Lfiting tasks.
