We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Boise, Idaho warehouse. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. Your work will ensure that our logistics operations run smoothly by providing reliable information on stock levels, locations, and movements. You will perform regular audits, investigate discrepancies, and implement procedures to enhance inventory accuracy. A strong understanding of warehouse systems and a commitment to Safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with Logistics planning and optimization based on inventory data.
- Follow safe Lifting practices when handling inventory samples or materials.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics. Proficiency with WMS software and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to Safety.
