We have an immediate opening for a skilled Reach Truck Operator in Madison, Wisconsin. If you have proven experience operating a reach truck and a strong commitment to warehouse safety and efficiency, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for operating reach trucks to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory, ensuring accurate placement and efficient movement of goods throughout our logistics facility. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent hand-eye coordination, and understands the importance of following strict safety procedures. - Operating a reach truck to move, organize, and store inventory in designated areas.
- Loading and unloading materials from trailers and containers.
- Retrieving products from high-level racks for order fulfillment.
- Performing pre-shift equipment checks to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through proper scanning and documentation within the WMS.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure operational flow.
- Participating in team meetings and safety training.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks, which may include some manual lifting.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our logistics operations.
