Are you a skilled and reliable Shipping Clerk looking for an exciting opportunity in Orlando, Florida? We are expanding our logistics operations and need your expertise to ensure our outgoing shipments are processed flawlessly. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and verifying all outgoing orders. This includes accurately picking items, securely packing them, applying correct labels, and generating all necessary shipping documentation. You will liaunt with various shipping carriers and confirm compliance with all shipping regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency in our warehouse. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment within our logistics network. Key duties include:
- Accurately retrieving items for outgoing orders based on provided lists or systems.
- Packing products safely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Affixing shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Conducting final checks to ensure order accuracy before dispatch.
- Preparing shipping manifests and other necessary paperwork for carriers.
- Coordinating with different shipping companies for timely pickups.
- Ensuring the shipping station is kept tidy and well-stocked.
- Confirming all outgoing shipments adhere to company and carrier guidelines.
- Adhering to all safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Performing other warehouse duties, which might involve some lifting, as directed.
