Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and records.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and scales.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate with internal departments and external carriers regarding shipment status.
- Perform tasks that may involve moderate lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Participate in training sessions on shipping software, logistics, and warehouse safety.
- Report any shipping discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient shipping department.
