Join our growing team as an Order Picker in sunny San Diego, California! We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of urgency to accurately select and prepare items for shipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You'll navigate our warehouse using scanning devices and pick lists, ensuring every item is accounted for and handled with care. This position requires physical stamina, as you'll be on your feet moving throughout the day. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and you will be expected to follow all guidelines and use appropriate PPE. Understanding the importance of efficient order fulfillment within the broader logistics chain is key. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify product information and quantities before and after picking.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work station.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other order picking equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to team goals and efficient workflow in the logistics process.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Willingness to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- A commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
