Our growing facility in Boise, Idaho, is looking for a dedicated Receiving Clerk to manage the incoming flow of goods. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and storing all received shipments. This position is vital to maintaining our inventory accuracy and ensuring that our operations run smoothly. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies and maintain a clean and organized receiving area. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role. You will be an integral part of our logistics chain, ensuring that all products are accounted for and ready for distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders.
- Accurately document all received goods into the inventory system.
- Label and tag items as required.
- Organize and store received products in designated areas.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Understanding of logistics processes.
- Commitment to safety and proper handling of materials.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements.
