Job Summary:
Are you passionate about accuracy and efficiency in inventory management? We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our warehouse stock, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing inventory levels. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating variances, and implementing solutions to improve inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Track and manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to minimize obsolescence.
  • Assist in the training of warehouse staff on inventory procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related problems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
  • Uphold all safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform lifting tasks as needed, typically up to 35 lbs.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
