Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging role in Jacksonville, Florida? We are hiring skilled professionals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently within our busy logistics facility. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your expertise ensures the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse, from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently.
- Safely stack and stage products in designated areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system information.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Experience in a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform routine lifting of materials up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
