Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stack materials.
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Move inventory efficiently and accurately throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic control and equipment operation guidelines.
- Proper use and care of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
- Tasks may involve manual Handling and moderate Lifting.
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the logistics supply chain.
- Report any incidents, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including some Lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
- Familiarity with general logistics and inventory control principles.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
