Job Summary:
Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is central to the efficient operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks that ensure products are managed correctly from arrival to departure. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment are key. This position requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, and frequent Lifting of items up to 45 lbs. Your adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are critical to maintaining a safe workplace. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our Logistics operations. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
  • Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and recording.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Follow all company policies and Safety procedures.
  • Wear all appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 45 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational skills. Commitment to workplace Safety and understanding of PPE requirements. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Understanding of basic Logistics principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with order fulfillment processes. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks. Focus on efficiency and quality of work. Understanding of inventory management techniques. Experience with Logistics and supply chain processes. Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
