Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory, and stacking goods at various heights. Accuracy and adherence to safety protocols are paramount. We provide a secure work environment and expect all team members to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. If you have proven experience operating forklifts and possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in logistics. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Safely transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience. Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess good communication skills. This position is essential for our operational success and requires a dedicated professional committed to safety and productivity.
