Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and implementing effective inventory management procedures. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of **Logistics** and warehouse operations. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that inventory data is precise and up-to-date. A high degree of **Safety** awareness and adherence to all **Safety** protocols, including the use of **PPE**, is mandatory. While not involving extensive **Lifting**, the role requires precision and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels and reorder points.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all inventory transactions.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and wear required **PPE**.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control or a similar **Logistics** role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and **Logistics**. **Safety** conscious and knowledgeable about **PPE** usage. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Must be able to perform occasional **Lifting** up to 25 pounds.
