Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting physical counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. You will work closely with the receiving, shipping, and warehouse teams to reconcile inventory data with physical stock. Your meticulous approach will be essential for preventing stockouts, reducing waste, and optimizing our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in reconciling shipping and receiving documents with system records.
  • Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/FEFO) to ensure product freshness and prevent obsolescence.
  • Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to management.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Support logistics and operations teams by providing accurate inventory data.
  • Ensure all lifting and handling of inventory is performed safely.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or a related role preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Must be reliable and committed to maintaining accurate records.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
