As a Picker/Packer, your primary duties will involve accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications and then carefully packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items for accuracy against order requirements.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines.
