Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our Austin, Texas warehouse team. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that we always have a clear and precise understanding of our stock levels. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and implementing best practices for inventory management. Your work will directly support the efficiency of our logistics operations, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience with WMS software and RF scanning equipment is essential. A commitment to safety is critical; you must follow all established safety procedures and correctly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role primarily involves monitoring and managing inventory, there may be occasional requirements for lifting items up to 30 lbs. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.

  • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to minimize spoilage and obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
  • Support the overall efficiency of the logistics supply chain.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be necessary.
