Job Summary:
Are you a skilled professional with a knack for maintaining complex warehouse machinery? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Technician in our bustling Miami, Florida facility. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, sorters, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and other material handling equipment. Your expertise is vital to ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our logistics infrastructure, minimizing downtime, and maximizing operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and sometimes pneumatic systems. You will work closely with the operations team to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industrial maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges. A commitment to safety is paramount, including understanding lockout/tagout procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While not primarily a lifting role, some physical exertion and the ability to maneuver in tight spaces may be required. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment (conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, forklifts, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
  • Install new equipment and systems as required.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Properly use and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service calls.
  • Ensure the correct use of PPE during all maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with operational staff to minimize disruption during repairs.
  • Contribute to improving the overall reliability of our logistics operations.
  • May require occasional lifting of parts or components up to 30 lbs.
