We have an immediate opening for a skilled Warehouse Technician at our San Francisco, California facility. This role is integral to the maintenance and smooth operation of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various pieces of warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, automated sorters, and material handling equipment. A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is required. Proactive identification of potential issues and swift resolution are key to minimizing operational disruptions and ensuring efficient logistics. Safety is our utmost concern, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position demands problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment. You will collaborate with the operations team to ensure all equipment is functioning optimally, contributing directly to our ability to meet delivery timelines. Experience in an industrial maintenance setting is highly valued. Occasional Lifting of parts and equipment may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Work closely with the operations team to minimize downtime
- Respond to repair calls in a timely manner
- Follow all safety guidelines and utilize required PPE
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
- Physical capability for occasional Lifting
