Join our fast-paced team in Columbus, Ohio, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products correctly and on time. You will be working with a variety of goods, using hand-held scanners and other equipment to fulfill orders efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner information.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as receiving or stocking.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a pick-and-pack, warehouse, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30-40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Experience with hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
