We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in San Francisco, California. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that our clients receive the correct items in a timely manner, contributing directly to our operational success and customer satisfaction. This position is vital to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations and requires a proactive approach to task completion. As an Order Picker, you will be expected to navigate the warehouse effectively, locate items using our inventory management system, and prepare them for the next stage of the logistics process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order forms.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is a plus.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and the use of appropriate PPE.
