Job Summary:
Our Sacramento, California warehouse is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. This key role is responsible for ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all logistics functions, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement cycle counting procedures.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and operational procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flow.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
  • Implement and improve standard operating procedures for all warehouse functions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
  • Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
