Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment.
- Checking shipments for damages and discrepancies, reporting any issues immediately.
- Organizing and stacking materials in an orderly and safe manner.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Operating various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Following all instructions regarding Lifting requirements and techniques.
- Supporting other warehouse functions as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols and adherence to them.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
