We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Associate to join our facility in Washington, D.C. This role is fundamental to the seamless operation of our logistics and distribution efforts. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a range of activities, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency will ensure that our inventory is accurate and our customers receive their orders promptly. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, strict adherence to all safety procedures and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are expected. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving regular lifting, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Join our dedicated team and contribute to the success of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Process outgoing shipments and prepare documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
