We are looking for a diligent and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our San Francisco, California facility. This vital role involves managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. You will be responsible for coordinating with team members, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and optimizing space utilization. A key aspect of this position is maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. You must ensure that all personnel adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role may involve some lifting, up to 30 lbs. We are seeking an individual with strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all orders.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Liaise with other departments and external logistics providers.
- Perform occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or coordination is essential.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Proven ability to manage a team and operational workflow.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
