We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Charlotte, North Carolina facility. This role is critical to the maintenance and operational efficiency of our logistics center. You will be responsible for maintaining warehouse equipment, performing minor repairs, and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. You will contribute to the smooth running of our logistics operations by ensuring the reliability of our tools and machinery. Working independently and as part of a team will be key. - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Inspect equipment for wear and tear, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Ensure all machinery operates in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues within the logistics environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment readiness.
- Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.
