Our Fort Worth, Texas distribution center is looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders promptly. You will navigate the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items based on order tickets or electronic devices. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount in this role. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety and provide all necessary training. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Operate manual equipment for moving inventory, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking route.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks as needed.
- Meet performance targets for picking accuracy and speed.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of the logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adhering to all guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
