Join our energetic team as a Picker/Packer in Fort Worth, Texas! We are seeking motivated individuals to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently within our bustling warehouse. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, confirming item accuracy, and carefully packing them for shipment. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are key to success in this role. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders complete and in excellent condition. We are looking for team players who are committed to quality and safety. This role involves a significant amount of movement throughout the warehouse and requires adherence to strict safety standards. Daily responsibilities will include:
- Picking customer orders from specified locations in the warehouse using a pick list or scanner.
- Verifying picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Packing items securely and appropriately for transit, selecting suitable packaging materials.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Performing quality checks to ensure items are damage-free.
- Maintaining an organized and clean workstation.
- Meeting daily picking and packing targets.
- Adhering to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with other warehouse functions as needed, which may include some manual lifting.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our logistics operations.
