We're hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy facility in Detroit, Michigan! This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our Logistics chain. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from our inventory and prepare them for shipment. This role demands precision, speed, and a strong commitment to quality. You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is crucial, and adherence to all Safety guidelines is mandatory. We provide all necessary PPE to protect our valued employees. The role involves regular physical activity, including significant Lifting and moving of packages. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from inventory
- Inspect items for damage before packing
- Pack orders securely and efficiently
- Label packages correctly for shipping
- Maintain cleanliness of packing and work areas
- Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines
- Use provided PPE at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting up to 45 lbs
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics is a plus
