Position Summary:
Please Note – this is for a six month Temporary Contract.
We are seeking an action-oriented and energetic HR Recruiter to drive our talent acquisition efforts within an MSP and MSSP environment. This role requires someone who can confidently engage candidates, promote our employer brand, and find top talent. The ideal candidate thrives on relationship-building, proactive outreach, and achieving recruitment targets.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for various roles across the organization.
Act as a "talent salesperson," pitching opportunities and elevating the candidate experience.
Source passive candidates through strategic outreach, networking, and creative search techniques.
Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and craft compelling job messaging.
Track recruitment metrics and proactively adjust strategies to meet hiring goals.
Maintain strong candidate pipeline.
Create all job postings and advertise across various platforms
Conduct pre-screen interviews and sit in on interviews with hiring managers.
Extend all offers of employment and follow up with an employment contract letter and all applicable new hire forms.
Coordinate start dates and ensures the hiring manager is informed along with process.
Work on other HR related projects as needed.
What you bring:
Must have 3 – 4 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, working as a dedicated Recruiter or HR Generalist in an IT environment.
Experience working with an MSP or MSSP is a strong asset.
A technical background is considered an asset.
Proven experience recruiting in both Canada and the US.
Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Software, especially LinkedIn Recruiter.
Experience in high-volume or competitive recruiting environments.
Demonstrated success in outbound sourcing and closing candidates.
Ability to craft compelling value propositions for roles and the employer brand.
Strong understanding of recruitment KPIs and pipeline management.
Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint.
A creative, innovative, and results-oriented problem solver.
Extremely well organized, multi-task oriented, and efficient in time management.
Self-confident and perseverance, dynamic communication skills, and a high sense of urgency.
Possess a high level of personal integrity and you are unconditionally committed to success.
Required Education and Other Credentials:
Bachelor's Degree required in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Certification, formal training, experience or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the educational requirements.
Valid Driver's License.
