Want to join a safety orientated, dynamic, results driven Team? Look no further than Allterra Construction Ltd. We are a well-established Civil Construction Contractor located in Langford B.C. We are immediately seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to be a part of our Mechanic Shop and Civil Construction Team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe workplace by engaging in and implementing safe work practices.
- Perform service, repair, and diagnostic and preventative maintenance to equipment and trucks in both the field and the shop.
- Procure parts and materials.
- Work with management to maintain schedules and priorities.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician/Mechanic. (Preferred)
- 5+ years of related experience with Heavy Equipment diagnosis, repairs, overhauls, and maintenance.
- Valid Class 3 with air endorsement driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical breakdowns in both the field and the shop.
- Excavator, Backhoe, and Dump truck experience required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
