We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives within the construction industry. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety across all projects. The Senior Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective safety programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
* Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards on construction sites and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Oversee compliance management to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations, including NEC standards.
* Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to promote a proactive approach to occupational health and safety.
* Provide training and resources to employees on safety practices, emergency response procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with established safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
* Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and compliance audits.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and investigations.
* Utilize construction management software to track safety performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of risk management principles related to construction environments.
* Expertise in compliance management with a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations.
* Familiarity with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and practices.
* Experience in managing safety on construction sites, including knowledge of safe building practices.
* Proficient in using construction management software for tracking safety metrics and documentation.
* Understanding of occupational health issues relevant to the construction industry.
* Ability to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures across all levels of the organization.
* Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and developing effective solutions.
