*Are you an exceptional Early Years Practitioner, looking to develop their role to the next level? If so then this job is for you.*
*Smiles Montessori Newhall are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable and most importantly fun and kind practitioner to join our amazing team to help us continue offering outstanding care to our children.*
*Experience in a nursery setting is preferable.*
*We believe in supporting our staff to reach the next stage in their professional development and so training and management guidance is a huge part of what we offer to our team. After all, the nursery wouldn't run without them!*
*At Smiles Newhall we also offer a beautiful purpose built setting to work in, with a vast garden for the children to explore.*
*We are looking a qualified assistant (ideally level 3 but we would consider a level 2) to support the class teachers with the daily running of the classroom and nursery routine, build bonds with children and parents, participate with termly planning, observe and asses children to challenge them, aswell as engage effectively with the children in your care.*
* *All positions are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974*
* *Any successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check before employment commences*
* *All staff are required to have two clear references before employment can commence*

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum
- Ability to engage and interact with children in a positive and nurturing manner
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
