We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our nursery setting. This role involves supporting children's development through engaging activities, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring their well-being at all times. A background in early childhood education and experience with children are essential to excel in this position.
*Duties*
* Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities for parents and management.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to childcare.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behaviour, and any concerns.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery environment.
* Assist with daily administrative tasks as required, including organising resources and maintaining cleanliness.
*Skills*
* Proven management and leadership skills within a childcare or nursery setting.
* Extensive experience working with children and in early childhood education programmes.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
* Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
* Experience with nursery management systems is desirable.
* Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation or home visits.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.26 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week
