This position involves the precise retrieval of items from our warehouse stock and their subsequent packaging for shipment. Working in a bustling environment, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our distribution network. Key responsibilities include using scanners or order lists to locate products, inspecting them for quality, and securely packing them for safe delivery. We prioritize a safe workplace and provide comprehensive training, including the use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves considerable Lifting and requires the ability to stand and move for extended periods. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the fast-paced logistics sector. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order requirements.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking and packing.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
